SNEAK THIEVES RAID EPSOM POST BOX

WARNING TO PUBLIC Sneak thieves are again interfering with letter boxes. A box on the Manukau Road, Epsom, near Boon’s store, was broken open last night and it is believed that the letters posted there have been tampered with. The postal authorities have no hope of ever detaining the sneak thieves without the help of the public. The police are attempting to catch the delinquents but it is a very difficult thing to do. Nothing of any vqjue should be posted in the boxes during the activities of the sneak thieves.
