CHRISTCHURCH GIRL MOLESTED BY YOUTH
COMPLAINTS IN SUBURBS (Special to THE SUN) CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday. A girl aged 15 was returning to her home in Sydenham on Thursday evening after her work when a young man rode up on his bicycle. He spoke to the girl, who took no notice and continued on her way. He followed behind her and when she was almost at her own gate he caught hold ot her. There was a struggle and the girl was thrown to the ground. The girl’s cries attracted attention and the young man made off. Several complaints have been made lately of molestation in suburban streets of young women by young men on bicycles.
