Frost last evening, to be fixed for August 4, at Eder. Park. The matches will be: Sacred Heart v. Grammar, at two o’clock, ana King’s College v. Auckland Grammar, at three o’clock. The Hamilton High School v. Auckland Grammar match was confirmed as a curtain-raiser at Eden Park on Julv 14. “College Day” was selected as “Charity Day.” it being considered that there ! would be a substantial gate on that j occasion. Taranaki defeated Wellington at Hawera to-day by nine points to six after a good game between the Taranaki forwards and the Wellington backs. Conan kicked a penalty goal and Wilson scored a try for Wellington. Riley and Brown scored tries for Taranaki and a penalty goal was also kicked. MORRINSVILLE TEAM (From Our Oxen Correspondent.) MORRINSVILLE, Tuesday. The team to represent Morrinsville (holders) in the second match of the season for the Finlay Cup against Cambridge on Saturday will be selected from: —Backs: S. Thomas, K. Whatever the final fifteen, the team will be weakened by the defecton of Tom O’Brien and E. Mallett, both of whom were injured in the match against Waipa.
