MAN SHOT AT BACK DOOR

THOUGHT TO BE ACCIDENT (Special to THE SUNJ NEW PLYMOUTH, Tuesday. Lying on a rock garden, at the back door of his house in Rata Street. Helge Alfred Holm, a middle-aged man, was found fatally shot at noon to-day. It seems likely that Mr. Holm slipped on a rock and that his gun went off as he fell. The shot struck him in the head, and death was apparently instantaneous. Mr. Holm had been in the habit of shooting bird 3 with a shotgun from his back doorstep, and at about the time of the fatality neighbours heard other shots. He was a married man. and he and his wife had lived in Inglewood for the last 10 months. He came originally from Australia.
