S.M.. on charges of failing to give the requisite 24 hours n«»ti< e of intention to work employees after hours. Mr. Webb said that a sp« * i 1 contingency arose at the store, and l>c*ing short staffed, it was necessary for two assistants to be detained after hours in order to keep faith with customers. Defendant was fined £1 on each the two charges.
