ADJUSTMENTS BEING MADE BOY ESCAPES UNINJURED (From Our Oven Correspondent.) TE KUITI. Monday. A five-seater Essex car, owned by Mr. P. Miles, of Te Kuiti, was completely destroyed by fire on Sunday night, about seven miles south of Te Awamutu. Mr. Miles, accompanied by his wife and son, were returning to Te Kuiti. and had called on some friends on the way home. Prior to continuing tl»« journey. Mr. Miles was making some adjustments to the electrical wiring when the car burst into flames, and was destroyed in a very short time. Mr. Miles’s son was seated in the car at the time of the outbreak. but escaped uninjured.
