COMMUNITY SINGING

The ever-popular community sins will be held in the Strand Theatre tomorrow- afternoon from 12.30 to 1.30. Not only does the •‘sing” provide an hour of amusement but also provides money for unendowed eharities. When ilrst commenced in Auckland the movement was received with enthusiasm which has increased year by year. Mr. W. Coltman will be in the chair to-morrow and the song-leader will be Mr. M. Guthrie, who has been chairman of the Community Singing Committee since its inception in Auckland. The soloist will be Mrs. Gordon I-lilyer and the pianist Mrs. Barrington-Snow.
