EMPLOYMENT CELEBRATED It has been a “wet” year for George Thornham. aged 33, who pleaded guilty at the Police Court to-day to his. 7th charge of drunkenness within the past six months. Hub-Inspector McCarthy said accused had received notice of employment yes. terday, and evidently being jubilant about this, he got drunk. "He seems fond of other things besides work!” remarked the Magistrate, Mr. tv. It. McKean, as he looked at accused's list.
