MR. COATES’S APPEAL (Special to THE SUN) MASTERTON, Sunday. \ N appeal to the people of the Dominion to report to the Government any cases of distress among returned soldiers —whom he said the Government was anxious to help—was voiced by the Prime Minister, Mr. J. G. Coates, at a reunion of ex-servicemen at Carterton last evening. “It is a responsibility that rests upon each and every one of us to let the Government know of these cases. Let us make it a duty to assist returned men.”
