Field reported that gratifying results conrinued to 'attend his treatment of cancer cases. He spoke of the need for an institution which would afford better condi - lions than those obtained in the average home. In addition to treating rases on his own account without any charge, he was now assisting in the treatment of patients for five doctors ihose fees were well suited to the patient’s means. Cancer of the stomach and liver were of course common; and he found it a remarkable thing that those with the stomach iffected had a craving for tripe, while those suffering from cancer of the liver had a desire for lamb’s fry.
