Mr. F. Klaus, of Tatuanul, has sold the balance of his farm, 105 acres, to Mr. Robinson. The price exceeded £4O an acre. The Morrinsville Orphans* Club held its second concert of the winter series, and there was a good attendance. Vicepresident Bro. F. Stringfield was the chairman. Items were given by Bros. Echlin, Murphy, Buchan, O'Connor, Jenkins, Jones, Hastie. F. W. Wilkes, and Hector. There was a large attendance at the concert held in connection with the semi-jubilee of the Morrinsville Methodist Church. The programme arranged by the Hamilton Young Men’s Bible Class included dancing and musical items. A violin solo by Mr. W. King was well received. Other items were: “Little Irish Girl,” Mr. F. Blackwood; pianoforte solo, Miss M. Jones; “Slave Song,” Miss M. Cliffe; elocutionary, Miss J. Shepherd: dance, Miss E>. Gould: “Love the Pedlar,” Mrs. A. Gordon: “Sea-Fever,” Mr. Blackwood: recitation. Miss Wright; farce, Hamilton Bible Class. • * * At a meeting held on Thursday evening it was decided to reform the Morrinsville branch of the Waikato Hunt. There was a large number present, and several unable to attend intimated their support. It was resolved to hold a hunt on Wednesday, July 11. It has been decided to erect a casein factory at Te Puninga, situated bej tween Tatuanui and Tahuna. 1 The factory will be erected and con- | trolled by arrangement between Mr. J. J. Patterson and the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company Limited. It will be large enough to handle the produce from 2,000 cows. Word has been received that Messrs B. Meyer and L. Woods, of Morrinsville, have passed their final examinations in chemistr3 r .
