AORANGI FROM VANCOUVER. —The j local office of the Union Company advise that the R.M.M.S. Aorangi, which leti ; Vancouver at noon last Wednesday for . Auckland and Sydney via ports, is due ( here on Sunday, July 15, and is in the meantime scheduled to sail again the following day at 1 p.m. for Sydney. MATANGI AND WA KAK U R A.—Owing to the strong southerly blow, it was not possible to undock the Northern Company’s steamer Matangi, and the minesweeper Wakakura, at Calliope this morning. They will probably come out on Monday morning, when the Waimea will go in to have repairs made to her propeller. THE PORT CU RTIS.—It is announced by the C. and D. Line that the Port Curtis will now make Wellington her final port of departure for Home ports. The vessel leaves Auckland this afternoon for Napier and Wellington. She is due at Wellington next Thursday, and will sail finally from there on the same day for London, Avonmouth, Glasgow and Liverpool, via Las Palmas. MOERAKI FOR ISLAND TRADE.— After lying at the patent slip, Wellington, for nearly a year, the Union Company’s Moeraki, once well known in the inter-colonial service, is at present undergoing extensive overhaul, after which she will proceed to Sydney. The steamer Suva, which is now running between Sydney and Fiji, will be withdrawn from that service next month, and the Moeraki, running in the joint account of the Union Steam Ship Company and the A.U.S.N. Company, will take her place. The Moeraki is to leave Sydney on July 25 for Noumea and Suva, and will maintain a regular three-weekly service from Sydney. Built by Messrs. Denny Bros., the j Moeraki, whose registered tonnage is. i 4,421, first arrived at Wellington on De- : cember 1, 1920. TRANS-PACIFIC CARGO STEAMERS. —The Union Company advises the following movements of vessels engaged in the trans-Pacific cargo services:— The Waitemata left San Francisco on June 13 for Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. She is due at Wellington on July 9. The Waihemo will leave Ocean Falls on July 3 for San Francisco and Los Angeles, to complete loading for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. She will clear Los Angeles on July 12 and is due at Auckland on August 5. The Wairuna was to leave Suva yesterday for Fanning Island, Vancouver, San Francisco and Los Angeles, to load for Auckland, Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth, also probably Bluff or Nelson. She clears Los Angeles on August 17. The Waiotapu will leave Melbourne today for Sydney and Newcastle, and thence to Vancouver direct. She will complete loading at San Francisco and Los Angeles for Papeete, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney, and clear Los Angeles on August 28. The Waikawa will leave Bluff on July 3 for New Plymouth, thence Westport, Suva and Vancouver. She loads at Pai cific Coast ports during August for Apia, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. The Hauraki will leave Melbourne on July 6 for Adelaide and Sydney, and sail thence to Suva and Vancouver. The forward loading dates at the Pacific Coast are approximately as follow: The Hauraki will load at Vancouver and San Francisco in August and September for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. The Waitemata will load at Vancouver and San Francisco during September for New Zealand and Australian ports. The Waihemo will load at Vancouver and San Francisco in October and November, probably for New Zealand out- ; ports. A steamer will load at Vancouver and 1 San Francisco during November for Melbourne. Adelaide and Sydney. The Wairuna will load at Vancouver and San Francisco during December for New Zealand and Australian ports. Port Sydney, Plume, Kanna, ; Rimutaka, Mnrama, Kairanga. Kaikoura, Aorangi, Seheldepas, Norfolk; Paua, Golden Coast, Port Curtis, Makura, Kawatiri. Awarua.—Canadian Challenger, Cumberland. Makura, Taranaki, Ruahine, Maunganui, Karetu, Waikawa, Willaston. PORT OF ONEHUNGA—ARRIVAL TO-DAY RARAWA (S a.m.), 1,077 tons. Bark, fro . mNew Plymouth. The Rarawa, which arrived at Onehunga this morning from New Plymouth, sails again at 3 p.m. on Monday for the same port. The Hauturu has been delayed at Hokianga, and is not expected at Onehunga till to-morrow morning. She will leave again at four o’clock on Tuesday afternoon for Raglan, Kawhia, and Port Waikato. VESSELS DELAYED.—The sea running on the West Coast have rendered the Manukau bar unworkable, and consequently the Anchor steamer Kaitoa. and the Isabella de Frame, are still sheltering inside the Heads. The Kaitoa is en route from Onehunga to Nelson, and the Isabella de Fraine to Hokianga. The Kaitoa is scheduled to arrive hack at Onehunga next Thursday to load for Nelson and West Coast ports.
