CAPITOL

MAORI MAIDS AND PICTURES Princess Te Puea’s Maori maids and warriors will give one of their enjoyable and typically Maori entertainments at the Capitol Theatre this evening. Poi dances, canoe dances, hakas and songs by the talented troupe make a memorable performance and everyone who sees it is sure of thorough enjoyment. In addition a pictorial programme is provided headed by Florence Vidor’s picture, “Honeymoon Hate.” Most of the action of “Honeymoon Hate” centres about the Hotel Danieli in Venice, and tells the story of an impetuous American girl, the daughter of a millionaire steel king, who must have everything her own way. She meets a member of royalty, Prince Dantarini, who has his own views of how a woman should act. They marry, his idea being to tame her, and hers being to humiliate him. A thrilling drama of the air, starring A 1 Wilson, the famous stunt flyer, will also be shown, entitled “The Air Patrol.”
