DICKENS FELLOWSHIP

The fortnightly meeting of the Auckland branch of the Dickens Fellowship was held last evening and was devoted to “Dombey and Son.” A review of the book was given by Mr. C. G\ Grant, who had charge of the programme. A sketch contained the following characters: —Dr. Blimber. Rev. A. B. Me Adam; the servant, Mr. W. M. Lusty. The story of the death of Paul Dombey was read by Mrs. Kenneth Gordon.
