NERVOUS WRECK
NOBILE BROKEN DOWN STARING AND INCOHERENT FEARFUL ORDEAL LONDON, Wednesday. Correspondents of German newspapers who are; at King’s Bay, declare that nobody is permitted to see General Mobile, whose condition is reported to be serious. He is suffering from a complete nervous breakdown, and is unable to give a coherent account of his doings since the destruction of the Italia. This explains why he was rescued first. Telegrams from Oslo give a description of the terrible condition of Nobile, who is wounded and suffering, bearded and dishevelled, with upturned raving eyes, as a result of the ordeal of mind and body.
