FERRY PASSENGER’S PLUNGE

/YN the arrival of the ferry steamer Makora from Devonport at 8.35 o’clock this morning, a passenger, in a hurry to get ashore, misjudged his spring and took a plunge into the icy waters of the Waitemata. Except for a thorough wetting and a shock, the passenger, who was soon hauled out, received no injuries and returned to the Shore by the same vessel for dry clothes before proceeding to work.

From yesterday’s late Edition.
