PRESENTATIONS
Air. C. J. Parlane, who was recently appointed manager of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., was met at Hamilton last evening bj- members of the executive staff of the company and presented with a travelling rug as a token of esteem on the eve of his departure for England. Air. D. Bruce, a director of the company, who made the presentation, voiced th© esteem in which Air. Parian© was held by the staff and suppliers of the organisation. The presentation of an oak writing desk was made to Mr. H. Curd, at the annual meeting of the Franklin branch of the Auckland Automobile Association last evening. Mr. J. Fulton said the gift was intended as an expression of the branch’s appreciation of Mr. Curd’s services during the past two years as a member of the council of Uxo as & ociatiou.
