YOUTHFUL SUICIDE
MAORI SHOOTS HIMSELF (From Our Own Correspondent) TAURANGA, Wednesday. A Maori lad, Hira Ngarino, 16 years of age, was found dead at Maungatapu, near Tauranga, yesterday, with a shotgun alongside his body. At an inquest before Mr. A F. Tunks, coroner, evidence was given that deceased was seen going out of the house with a shotgun in his hand. WTien spoken to he said he would shoot himself. A report was heard later and his body was found. The coroner returned a verdict of suicide by shooting.
