TRANSPORT REPORT

NOT YET SIGHTED INQUIRY IN WELLINGTON (Special to THE SUE) (THE SUN’S Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, To-day. “No, it is not in sight yet, and I am not at present looking for it,” said the Prime Minister, the Hon. J. G. Coates, yesterday, when asked if the Auckland Transport Commission’s report had yet appeared before him. With the opening of the session imminent, and important national legislation in the offing, the Prime Minister indicated that he is at present primarily concerned with other things than the Auckland Transport Commission. The report goes first to the GovernorGeneral, and will then be sent to the Prime Minister, to be considered by Cabinet at the first opportunity.
