150TH ANNIVERSARY
COOK’S LANDING AT HAWAII N.Z.’S REPRESENTATIVES Press Association. WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The Government has asked Dr. P. Buck, anthropologist at the Bishop Museum in Honolulu, and Mr. M. Cohen to represent New Zealand at the celebrations to mark the 150th anniversary of the landing in Hawaii of Captain James Cook. Mr. Cohen, who is a member of the Wellington Harbour Board, was granted leave of absence at a meeting of the board last evening and he will leave on July 3 to spend the rest of the winter in Honolulu.
