PUBLICITY BOOKLET

MT. ALBERT NOT KEEN TO CONTRIBUTE Pointing out that the issuing of a publicity booklet of urban and rural Auckland entitled “The Gateway of New Zealand,” had been sanctioned by the City Council, the Auckland Advertising Club wrote to the Mount Albert Borough Council asking the possibility of a contribution from the borough. The club thought the borough would benefit from the venture, but council members decided last evening that a contribution would not assist their ratepayers. The meeting took no action.
