MISHAP TO LIMITED

TRAIN STOPPED PROMPTLY (From Our Own Correspondent) NGARUAWAHIA, To-day. The prompt stopping of the Limited beyond Ngaruawahia this morning saved the permanent way from being damaged, and perhaps other trouble. A spring on the locomotive broke loose and fell on to the track, scattering metal in all directions. The locomotive was pulled up very promptly, and any ■ trouble or damage was averted. The train arrived only about 20 minutes late in Auckland.
