WOMAN MISSING

LOST SINCE SUNDAY (From Our Own Correspondent) THAMES, Monday. A Thames woman, Mrs. E. E>. Whitehead, has been missing from her home in Mackay Street since 7 p.m. on Sunday and fears are entertained for her safety. The missing woman, who has not enjoyed good health of late, apparently adjourned to a lront room of her home soon after the evening meal. Then she must have left the house, as she is reported to have been seen in the neighbourhood of the Kauaeranga River shortly before eight o’clock. Many parties aided the police in a search for the missing woman to-day, but no trace of her whereabouts had been found this evening.
