PURIRI TENNIS CLUB DANCE

The first annual ball of the Puriri Tennis Club, held in St. Barnabas's Hall on Saturday evening, proved a decided attraction for a large number of members and their friends. Mr. Palmer as M.C. and a dance committee consisting of Miss Shepherd, Mesrs. Doull, Wardrop and Carter carried out all arrangements efficiently, a feature being the brilliant “decoration of the hall. Middleton, black georgette, with oriental shawl. Miss Beere, flame taffeta. Miss D. Shepherd. Chinese blue satin crepe de chine, with silver trimmings. Miss E. Carter, black silk ring velvet. Miss N.
