CIVIC QUESTIONS
PUBLIC MEETING TO-DAY MR. J. R. LUNDON’S QUESTIONS The campaign which he instituted some time ago against the Auckland City Council administration is being continued by Mr. J. R. Lundon in the Town Hall this evening, when a public meeting will be held to hear discussed the following subjects: The BaildonJaffe Concordat; the Russian From Riga; the Civic Square Scandal; Who Shares that £60,000? Mr. Lundon is billed to ask: Are George Washington, Munchausen and Ananias myths? He invites ratepayers to hear the truth about what he calls “Road-selling and road-grabbing in Excelsis,” and “How loans are spent.” Cr. W. H. Murray will speak at the same meeting and will elucidate his opinion on the Civic Square leases, civic administration generally and the Murray charges and inquiry. The meeting will start at 7.45 p.m.
