DESTINY OF ENGLAND (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright). (Australian Press Association.) MINNEAPOLIS, Friday. In a speech at a British Empire dinner, Sir Donald Maclean, formerly Liberal Whip in the House of Commons, said England had not only maintained her prestige among the nations, but would yet become mightier. He said England, in conjunction with the United States and Canada, could make the future destiny of the world one worthy of a Christian civilisation. Sir Donald said England had made remarkable recovery from her ills. He defended the “dole” and said the people of England were “virile, confident, and efficients”
