STRUCK BY ROCK

MAN’S BACK INJURED A large piece of masonry rolled from a truck and struck Harry Blair, aged 25, on the back as he was doing excavation work on the old British Hotel .site. He was taken to hospital in the St. John Ambulance about mid-day, but his condition is not serious. Mr. Blair is employed by the Fletcher Construction Company’ as a labourer. He is a single man living at 24 Ireland Street, Ponsonby.
