Championship Soccer
Attractive Programme To-Morrow Exciting Race for Leadership THE withdrawal of the leading team from the championship has had the unusual effect of stimulating fresh public interest in the contest, which is now left very open. Each game will now have an important hearing on the ladder, and to-morrow’s matches at Blandforcl Park should attract a large attendance. In the first game Ponsonby meets Northcote, and the principal feature will be the match between Onehunga and Y.M.C.A. Both contests should provide some thrilling Soccer. The northern rivals, Shore and Belmont, meet at Devonport, Tramways having drawn the bye.
