In the Magistrate’s Court Trevor Walter Moss was charged with negligently driving a motor-cycle on Woodham Road on April 18, and causing the death of Margaret O’Connor. The police alleged that accused had been riding without a light, and at an excessive speed. A girl of years had been riding on the pillion. The defence was a denial of the allegations. Accused pleaded not guilty, and was committed for triad.
