CITY GUILTY, TOO
WAGES FOR RELIEF WORK “TTHE City Council is doing the A same,” said an interjector at Mr. H. E. Holland’s meeting last night, when the Labour leader was charging the Government with depriving relief workers of a living wage. The interjector struck a popular note with the big audience, which stamped and cheered. Showing charitable deference to the feeling of his chairman. Mr. George Baiidon, Mr. Holland passed lightly on.
