HAWKE’S BAY FIXTURE ACCEPTORS FOR OPENING DAY POOR JUMPING FIELDS (Special to THE SU2f) HASTINGS, To-day. The winter meeting: of the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club opens at Hastings tomorrow. and will be concluded on Saturday. The first day’s acceptances closed at midday to-day, resulting in good fields being paid up for in the flat events only. More rain fell last night, so that the going promises to be soft. The following have shown some form lately, and are expected to come in for support:—• Woodlands Hack Steeplechase (to start at mid-day).—Rangi Sarto and Radiate.
