SMITH PROMOTED FLYER SEEKS DIVORCE (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) Reed. 10 a.m. SYDNEY. To-day. The Federal Ministry has created Captain Kingsford Smith a squadron leader, and Mr. C. T. Ulm a flightlieutenant. Speaking at a luncheon given yesterday by the Institute of Journalists, Captain Smith said he would not only fly to New Zealand, but also he would fly back again to Australia. Captain Kingsford Smith has filed a petition in divorce against his wife on the ground of desertion.
