IRRITATING PRACTICE

SPEEDING TO OVERTAKE (From Our Oven Correspondent) PUKEKOHE, Wednesday. The method employed by the Franklin County Council in timing speeding cars was criticised by Mr. F. H. Levien, S.M., who presided at the Pukekohe Police Court to-day. “It is a most irritating practice for the driver of a car, whether a traffic inspector or not, to speed up as a car is in the act of passing, tnd I am pleased to see that it is not allowed under the new Motor Vehicle Regulations.” commented the Bench.
