MR. S. FOURNIER ELECTED “REDS” IN CHRISTCHURCH Press Jtssoctatron CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. By 634 votes to 70, Mr. S. Fournier has been recognised as the leader of the Communist Party in Christchurch. He was defeated in a postal ballot for the election of a secretary of the Canterbury General Labourers’ Union, and Mr. H. Worrall was declared reelected to the position at the annual meeting of the Union last evening.
