SPRING IS WITH US
Though the calendar informs us that it is mid-winter nature is proclaiming in a variety of ways that spring is with us. Spring flowers are blooming in many Auckland gardens, and further evidence of the approach of the season beloved by lovers and poets is the announcement from Te Puke that the first spring lamb was born in that district on Friday.
