SMART WORK
TTATS off to Mr. A. G. Mabee, secretary of the Auckland Trotting Club, and his assistants, for the prompt manner in which the acceptances were available last evening. The window shut finally at 5 p.m., and one minute later the complete list was handed to the Press. This constitutes a record in such affairs, and the officials responsible for the smart work are deserving of congratulation on their promptness of dispatch.
