Rarely are immense liners associated wt*£h the stories of the afar seeing “Buttons” moviegoers will wish they were! It is in this palatial environment that the theme of “Buttons' develops, enveloping Captain Travers, his fickle fiancee, a rich idler, and “Buttons,” the captain’s page, in gripping drama —and it culminates in the collision of the liner with an immense iceberg. Jackie Coogan’s admirers are literally legion, and not one will fail to pronounce “Buttons” his most memorable contribution to the screen’s greatest achievements. The supporting cast is notable, chiefly for the compelling performance given by Lars Hanson, who plays the captain. The second feature stars Rudolp:.
