RIALTO AND REGENT, EPSOM
“THE HEART OF A FOLLIES GIRL” “The Heart of a Follies’ Girl,” starring Billie Dove, which will be shown this evening at the Rialto and Regent (Epsom) Theatres, is a story of the love of one of the girls in the Follies show. Scenes of the Follies show, backstage, in the dressing rooms and cafes and apartments take us with the famous chorus girls and give intimate glimpses of their lives. “The Heart of a Follies Girl,” which was directed by John Francis Dillon, is based on Adela Rogers St. Johns’ magazine story of the same title. Supporting Miss Dove in chorusgirl roles are Mildred Harris and 47 shapely Hollywood dancing girls. Larry Kent plays opposite the star, and Lowell Sherman is the villain of the piece. “The 13th Juror,” the second feature, is the dramatic story of a murder trial. Anna. Q. Nilsson and Francis X. Bushman are the leading players, Bushman portraying the part of an eloquent barrister defending his friend from the charge of murder.
