The All Blacks will meet the Springboks at Durban in the first Test on June 30. This picture gives a good idea of Lord’s Ground, where the match will be played. It is a well grassed area, with a turf much the same as Eden Park, although the ground is harder. The end of June sees an annual pilgrimage to Durban from all parts of South Africa to attend the big racing and sports fixtures there.
