OVERSEA TRADING

CASH SYSTEM CONDEMNED UNFAIR TO N.Z. TRADERS (From Our Own Correspondent) CAMBRIHGE, To-day. A protest against the cash on delivery system of trading by oversea firms was made in a resolution which was carried unanimously at a meeting of the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce last evening. The system was regarded as unfair to Hominion traders, and the Chamber strongly objected to the Postal Department acting as agents for such trading firms. Other chambers of commerce are to be urged to make similar protests.
