BODY FOUND IN RIVER

(Special to THE SUN) PUTARURU, Wednesday. The body of George Manning, an old man who, had been missing since Saturday, was found in the river under the town bridge at Putaruru fb-day. His hat and pipe were found on the bank of the Orakau stream, and as the bank was broken away it is believed that he fell into the water and was drowned.
