The New Zealand Fruit Export Control Board has received a cablegram from its London representative advising that the following prices have been received for New Zealand fruit landed at Liverpool by the Herminius and at London by the Devon and Westmoreland. Apples: Jonathans and Delicious, 10s to 12s 6d a case; Wolseleys and London Pippin, 10s to 11s; Sturmers, 32s to 13s 6d; pears, 4s to 6s a tray. The apples arrived mainly in good condition, but the Westmoreland’s pears were inclined to be wasty. The market is unsteady.
