PLUNKET SOCIETY
TE AWAMLTU BRANCH Mrs. H. de L. Peake occupied the chair at the committee meeting of the Te Awamutu Plunket Society. The Whangarei branch asked for information in regard to the recent carnival, the details of which had been supplied. The nurse's report for May showed 24 new cases for the month, 61 visits paid to homes, 312 visitors to the rooms, and 141 babies and 27 older children under supervision. The head omce asked that new forms issued by the Health Department should be filled in and returned in place of the balance sheet already forwarded. It was decided to comply with the request, but to point out that such returns were not official, as the original balance sheet lad already been adopted by the annual general meeting. Accounts totalling 33s 3d were passed for payment.
