JASPER’S WINTER FAIR

BAZAAR AT TOWN HALL On Thursday and Friday next “Jasper’s Winter Fair,” with its scores of side-shows and competitions, will be held in the Town Hall. This is the annual appeal made by the Rev. Jasper Calder on behalf of the City Mission. One of the competitions is a poster parade, in which competitors are to represent business firms or well-known goods. Many local organisations are helping and a good display of articles is assured. The workers will include the Victoria League, Y.M.C.A., Otimists’ Club, City Mission Guides, and most of the city parishes. The Deputy-Mayor, Air. A. J. Entrican, will open the fair at 2 p.m. on Thursday.
