BOARD’S MARKET RESUME Under date June S the London office of the New Zealand Dairy Produce Board cabled as follows, the previous week’s prices being given in parentheses: —> Butter New Zealand. —Salted, 168 s to 172 s (166 s to I6Ss); unsalted, 174 s to 176 s (168 sto 17Gs). Deliveries of New Zealand this week, 717 tons. New Zealand in store this week, 4,156 tons. Australian. —Finest salted, 158 s to 162 s (154 s to 158 s); unsalted, 160 s to 164 s (158 s to 1625). Argentine.—Finest unsalted, 156 s to 160 s (156 s to 160 s). Irish. —Creamery, salted, 164 s to 1665; unsalted, 168 s to 170 s. Dutch. —Creamery unsalted, l(#0s to 164 s (162 s to 1645). French. —Salted, baskets, 144 s to 160 s (146 s to 160 s); unsalted, 146 s to 1545. Estonian. —Salted, 158 s to 163 s (15Ss to 1625); unsalted, 164 s to 166 s (162 s to 1645). Retail prices are unchanged. The Northern Hemisphere production is delayed, but the weather is now improving. Cheese New Zealand. —White and coloured, 99s to 100 s (97s to 995). Deliveries of New Zealand this week, 27,353 crates. New Zealand in store this week, 83,605 crates. Canadian. —Finest white, 112 s to 116 s (112 s); coloured, 108 s to 112 s (108 s to 110 s). Australian. —Finest coloured, 96s to 97s (94s to 955). The market is firm. Retail prices are unchanged. Shipping Arrivals The Corinthic completed discharge of its butter cargo on May 31. The Pakeha completed its cheese on June 1, commenced the discharge of its butter on June 4, and completed it on June 5. The Devon commenced the discharge of its butter on June 8. The following steamers arrived this week; Westmoreland (commenced discharge of butter on June 8); Remuera (commenced discharge of cheese on June 5, butter not yet opened). North American Prices The board has also received advice from its agents in Canada as follows: Butter—New York, 44 cents (Is 10d>, Is 103 d last week; Montreal, 342 cents (Is 5 3-Sd), Is 53d last week: San Francisco, 42 cents (Is 9d), same as last week.
