“BACK IN THE MORNING”

PRISONER LEAVES NOTE RECAPTURED AT HOME Press Associatioyi. WELLINGTON, To-day. Receiving disturbing news from his home, Arthur Cecil Dailey, formerly an accountant, who is serving a 12months’ reformative sentence, escaped from the prison camp near Trentham yesterday afternoon, leaving a note to the effect that he would report back in the morning. Dailey was captured on arriving at his house in the evening, where a watch had been set. It was stated in court to-day that escapes had a bad effect on discipline. Dailey will now have to serve another month.
