NEW COMEDIES FOR HAROLD LLOYD
SUGGESTED IDEAS Having finished "Speedy,” his new Manhattan comedy of a taxidriver, Harold Lloyd is hesitating between three general ideas for his next picture. There have been many requests, Lloyd’s studio admits, for a second campus comedy starring the spectacled favourite. The success of “Tile Freshman” has led him seriously to consider making a successor. A second project is a cub-reporter story; Lloyd has always wanted to make one, and it will be forthcoming one of these days. The third choice Is a “toy kingdom” story. This theme entered “A Sailor Made Man” and “Why Worry," but the story he is now considering is along different lines from either of the earlier offerings. Tn "Speedy” he is a typical New York youth. The picture brings more action to the screen than any previous Lloyd comedy.
