“FOUR SONS”

Already reports have been received that “four Sons,” John Ford’s latest picture for Fox, has been received with acclamation from all quarters, and the unanimous opinions are that “Four Sons” is another “Over the Hill.” It will be remembered that Mary Carr became famous for her mother role in this latter picture, and in “Four Sons” Margaret Mann, a 60-year-old artist, has come into the limelight with as much brilliance as did Miss Carr. “Four Sons” is a sympathetic story of the effect which the recent war had upon the humble people of Bavaria. Its theme is simple but poignantly human and appealing, and cannot but have a profound effect upon all picturegoers.
