RADIO COMMUNICATION RESTORED BRITAIN AND RELIEF (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian Press Association.) Reed. 1.30 a.m. LONDON, Thursday. General Nobile’s supply ship Citta di Milano announces that it has re-established wireless communication with the airship Italia, which was lost in the Polar wastes. In the House of Commons, Sir Philip Sassoon, Under-Secretary of Air, iu answer to a question, said the Air Ministry did not intend to partake in the international expedition to determine the fate of the Italia. There were no British airships commissioned. He feared that the geographical and weather difficulties were too great for British machines to partake in the search. Mr. F. H. Rose, Labour member for Aberdeen: Is it in consonance with the honour and tradition of the British race not to take part in a search so long as there is hope of saving one human life? Sir Philip Sassoon said he thought he had made it clear that he did not mean doing so. Mr. Rose: Then you ought to!
