EMPLOYEES’ PENSIONS
NATIONAL PROVIDENT FUND The question of providing pensions for employees engaged in commercial and industrial pursuits has engaged the attention of many employers throughout the Dominion for years past. In order to meet this desirable object the Government last session, put through an important amendment to the law relating to the Government National Provident Fund which secures an effective superannuation scheme. Employers can now obtain for any, or all, of their employees between the ages of 16 and 60, pensions ranging from 10s to £4 weekly, payable at the age of 60.
